The filters are housed within a rigid aluminium system with a sealed filtration system designed to direct air through the filtration media and minimise air bypass.

The standard H14 configuration is the core SA700 proposition, providing high-efficiency HEPA filtration and powerful clean air delivery without the high energy consumption associated with many commercial air purifiers.

The SA700 uses just 12W at full performance. The included timer switch allows operation to be scheduled around the school day, helping avoid unnecessary overnight and weekend electricity use.

This equals 1,560 operating hours per year. At 12W, the SA700 would use approximately:

18.72 kWh per year

At an electricity cost of 30p per kWh, the annual electricity cost would be:

Nine fans - Three-sided airflow

The SA700 uses a carefully engineered airflow system with nine fans across three sides. Rather than relying on a single large fan, the multi-fan system is designed to optimise:

Typical professional installation costs are approximately £95-£150 ex. VAT per unit, although installation can also be managed by your on-site team where appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

What does the SA700 come with?
The standard SA700 dual filter package includes the air purifier, 2 × H14 HEPA filters, wall brackets, a timer switch and delivery. The H14 HEPA delivers 490 m³/h CADR and uses just 12W.
Why is the pre-filter optional?
The SA700 was designed to operate without a pre-filter, with the main filter providing the air inlet and the fans positioned at the outlet. In the UK, washable pre-filters are available as an optional extra for customers who want additional protection for the main filters or who want to create a custom appearance using school colours, logos, mottos or other artwork. The washable pre-filters are made from a fabric selected to provide high airflow while allowing a wide range of custom designs.
Can the SA700 be wall-mounted?
Yes. A wall bracket kit is included with the standard package. It is designed to be installed by one person and built for masonry (brick, concrete) or solid timber studs/joists using supplied M6×60 expansion screws. Installation must be carried out by a competent person familiar with wall and ceiling fixings and building structures. For ceiling mounted, use only qualified installers familiar with overhead load fixings and structural elements. Professional installation is available on request.
How long do the filters last?
The H14 filters have a lifespan of up to 4,680 operating hours. Based on a typical school schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and 39 weeks per year, this can equate to up to 3 years of use. Actual filter life depends on environmental conditions and usage. If you choose to use E11 filters, the lifespan is 2,520 hours, which equates to just over 1.5 school years.
Is there a higher CADR option?
Yes. E11 filters are available as an optional alternative where maximum CADR is the priority, delivering up to 720 m³/h CADR. The standard out-of-the-box SA700 is supplied with dual H14 HEPA filters and delivers 490 m³/h CADR. If you wish to use E11 filters, these can normally be supplied at replacement filter stage. For larger orders where we are carrying out the installation, we can also discuss supplying the units with E11 filters from the outset.
Why nine fans?
Our fans were selected after testing dozens of fan + filter combinations. We selected 9 x 120 mm high static pressure PC fans with 20,000 hrs of rated lifespan. 9 fans deliver lower RPM per fan which results in lower noise; even airflow across the full filter surface; reduced airflow dead zones; increased redundancy: the system continues operating even if one fan fails.
